May Madness

Thank you to everyone who came to our milonga on the weekend to celebrate Elizabeth's birthday. We had a blast. It was great to see so many of you dancing the night away. We're looking forward to June. Another special event is being planned. More information will follow.

May Milonga

Our May milonga will be on Saturday the 8th May 2010 from 7:00pm - 10:00pm @ The Strand in Applecross. It will cost you $10 entry if you pre-book by sending us an email at tangospace@westnet.com.au on or before the 7th May 2010, or, you can pay $15 at the door. Our May adventures in tango will be kick-started with Leanne's playlist offering up an exciting mix of tunes for dancing. This will be followed up with a special birthday celebration on the night. We look forward to seeing you.

April Update

Just when we were hoping to get back into a steady routine, a spanner has been thrown into the works. For the next two weeks the TangoSpace practica will not be on. There will be maintenance on the Waylen Bay Hall and we will not be able to have access to the space. TangoSpace will be back on the 28th April 2010 7:45pm - 10:00pm $7.00 entry @ The Strand in Applecross. Our May milonga will be on the 8th and we look forward to seeing you there.

April Hiatus

TangoSpace has decided to have a short break from running the milonga for the month of April. So, on April the 10th 2010 we will not be holding our milonga at The Strand in Applecross. Do not be dismayed, there will be plenty of tango for you. Due to Easter, the JRDA milonga will instead be running on the 10th April from 9:00pm - 2:00am, and the following week the 17th April 2010 will see the Perth Tango Club celebrate its fifth anniversary with a free milonga for members. We hope to see you tangoing at these events and will be back on deck May 8th for our next milonga.

A big thank you to everyone who came to the milonga on the weekend to see our special guests Daniel Tuero and Aja Fenn. It was a great turn-out and we were entertained by Dani and Aja's beautiful dancing. We hope to see them again soon in Perth. We now look forward to April. We hope to see you soon.

March Milonga

February Milonga

The TangoSpace milonga is on Saturday the 13th February 2010 from 7:00pm - 10:00pm @ The Strand in Applecross. If you pre-book on or before the 11th of February 2010 it will cost you $10.00 - or you can rock up on the night for $15.00 at the door. For the first time at TangoSpace we are privileged to have a guest playlist programmer. Pierre Candelaria will be sharing his list of tango tunes with us, crafting an exciting and entertaining night of tango dancing. We hope you can join us.
