Movie Night

TangoSpace is having a movie night! Our next milonga is going to be on Saturday the 13th April but there will be a twist. We are going to be having a movie night. No - not a tango movie - a real movie. We're a bit tired (exhausted) from the last six months of planning and organising for TangoSpace so we thought we'd have an informal evening where everyone can relax and take it easy. The price of entry will be some food or drink to share with everyone. The plan is this: 6:30pm everybody eating. 7:00pm film screening. 8:40pm dancing until 10:00pm. There will be an informal playlist (no tandas or cortinas) for everyone to have a bit of a dance. Let us know if you are coming so we can ensure we have enough plates, cups and cutlery, and also a balance of food. You might also want to bring a comfy cushion or blanket for the film screening.

March Milonga: Special Event

There are many special things about our next milonga being held on Saturday 9th March 2013. First, we are pleased to welcome special guests Michelle Marsidi and Joachim Dietiker who will be performing on the night. This is a unique opportunity to see these lovely dancers up close and personal performing their elegant and energetic tango. We will also be starting at a later than usual timeslot of 8:30pm and will be co-hosting the event with PracticaWest in their venue at 10 Harold St, Dianella. We invite all Perth tango dancers to an enjoyable evening with good food, lovely music and stunning dancers. Or you are most welcome to arrive on the night and pay $30 at the door.

Thank You

Nick and Diana have now flown off for the rest of their tour. Thank you to everyone in Perth who came along to workshops, concepts, practicas and private lessons. Your attention and enthusiasm were appreciated. Hope we can get them back soon. In the mean time, we have heaps of practice at TangoSpace and announcements soon about our next visitors arriving early next year.
