More May Movement

The month of May is offering up some challenges for scheduling. Our mini-milonga is being moved, yet again, back one week to the 23rd May 2009. Let's hope this one holds. Fingers crossed. June is also looking to be an interesting month for movement in our calendar. We will try not to disrupt or alter too many plans. We thank you for your patience during this unstable period in our timetabling. Hopefully it will all smooth out soon enough. Finally, a big welcome to our first 'follower' Angelina. Great to have you on-board.

May Update

We're barely into April. But there's so much going on we need a May update to keep track of TangoSpace movements. JRDA have announced that Mario and Anabella will be visiting Perth from the 6th to the 12th May 2009. So, once again TangoSpace will be moving its monthly mini-milonga to the third Saturday in May which will be the 16th. We will be attending workshops, private lessons and performances so we are going to be way too occupied while Mario and Anabella are here. 2009 seems to be a busy year and we thank you for your patience in following our seemingly ever-changing schedule. June will also see us reorganising times and events so stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

April

In April we are back to our regular second Saturday of the month for the TangoSpace mini-milonga. Our social is running on April 11th 2009 from 7:00pm - 10:00pm $10.00 entry at The Strand in Applecross. Make the most of the remaining summer weather and enjoy a dance alongside the river.

Mini-Milonga

Thanks to everyone who came to our mini-milonga on the weekend. It was great to see you. We look forward to catching up with you again at our next one in April on the second Saturday of the month.

Special Event

June 20th and 21st 2009 will see Flipside Tango, Toucan Tango, and event coordinators TangoSpace hold a special event for Perth tango dancers. More details will be released as the date gets closer. But in the mean time, make a note in your diary to hold those dates open.

March Mini-Milonga

This month, our mini-milonga has been pushed back one week. Saturday the 21st March 2009 we will be running our social dance. We look forward to seeing everyone from 7:00pm - 10:00pm at The Strand in Applecross, $10.00 entry.

Tangocamp 2009

Tangocamp is a series of tango festivals held across Europe in cities including Rome: Italy, Evia Island: Greece, Tylosand: Sweden, and Dusseldorf: Germany. This year they are running special seminars with Gustavo Naveira and Giselle-Anne to accompany the major festival events. There are currently about 700 participants enrolled in Tangocamp across Europe and about 100 people are looking for a leader or follower to partner them in classes/workshops.
