Daniel and Aja in Perth 2010

TangoSpace is pleased to announce Daniel from Argentina and Aja from the UK will be in Perth during March 2010 to offer a series of workshops, concepts and private lessons to Perth tango dancers. These young and energetic dancers are part of a new generation of tango instructors who are expert in a range of traditional and contemporary tango techniques. Both Daniel and Aja have been educated by some of the current maestros touring Europe and Argentine including Gustavo Naveira and Giselle-Anne, Cecilia Gonzalez and Pablo Inza. Details of the workshops on offer, pricing and schedule will be available soon.

A Great Way to Start the Year

Thank you to everyone who came along to our first milonga for the year. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed dancing with everyone. Thank you also to the out of town visitors who came along. It was great to have you at TangoSpace. Now we're looking forward to the next one in February.

First Milonga for the Year

TangoSpace is running the first milonga for the year in Perth on Saturday the 9th January 2010. We would love to see you down by the river from 7:00pm - 10:00pm. We know it's early but it's full of tango goodness. This year we are changing our pricing a little with a $10.00 entry fee for those who book on or before the 8th Jan 2010 and $15.00 for those of you who just want to rock up on the night. Happy New Year

TangoSpace would like to wish everyone a fruitful and happy 2010. We look forward to seeing you at any and all tango events around Perth. This year TangoSpace is going to be full of subtle changes which we will announce as we move through 2010. Stay tuned for these developments.

December Details

2009 has passed quickly and we hope everyone is enjoying the festivities of this time of year. TangoSpace had a wonderful Christmas milonga with fantastic dances and great company. We hope to continue this tradition in 2010. TangoSpace Wednesday practicas are only on for two more weeks in December. We are having a short break on December 30 just to take a breather before we kick-start 2010. We will be back on-deck January 6 2010. Hope you can join us. Next year promises to be an exciting time for us. We would love for you to be part of it.

Christmas Milonga

The year is winding down already and after the Homer and Cristina cyclone we are ready to chill out at TangoSpace with our Christmas mini-milonga. We invite everyone to come down to the river for some relaxing tango and chill-out tunes as we reflect upon a dynamic year of tango and look forward to exciting new opportunities in 2010. On Saturday the 12th December 2009, come down to TangoSpace from 7:00pm - 10:00pm $10 entry at The Strand in Applecross for an early tango evening.
