TangoSpace will be having a week off on the 28th December 2011. We look forward to seeing you on January 4th 2012 for a fresh year of TangoSpace practicas and milongas.

Thank You

Thank you to everyone who has supported TangoSpace in 2011. We finished off the year with a fantastic milonga on the weekend which we enjoyed enormously. Thanks to everyone who came along to enjoy it with us and thanks to everyone who stayed behind to help us pack up. Your help is appreciated. We start back with our milongas in 2012 on January the 14th. We hope to see you there. In the mean time, our Wednesday practicas will run as normal all through December. Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Take care and be well.

Christmas Milonga

Announcement

Practica Wednesday 27th April 2011

The TangoSpace practica this Wednesday the 27th April 2011 is canceled. We will be back the following Wednesday 4th May 2011, and our next milonga will be held on Saturday the 14th May 2011. In the mean-time, keep dancing.

April Milonga

We are back. Welcome to our April milonga at TangoSpace on Saturday the 9th April 2011 from 7:00pm - 10:00pm at The Strand in Applecross. As usual, if you send us an email to let us know you are coming on or before Friday the 8th April 2011, you can get in for $10. If you would like to just show up on the night, that's fine, you're welcome in for $15 at the door. Antonio has constructed a kick-arse play-list for you to dance the night away. Grrrr...

It is with great regret that we have to announce that our milonga this Saturday has been canceled. Due to circumstances beyond our control our venue was double booked and we unfortunately drew the short straw. We thank everyone who emailed in to let us know you were coming. You will receive an email from TangoSpace shortly expressing our thanks individually to you. We apologise sincerely and hope this has not ruined weekend planning. We will be back next month. In the mean-time the Wednesday practica will run as normal.

March Milonga

Tango Promo

Tango got a big boost in Perth last week when Leanne from TangoSpace had the privilege of performing a short tango to Sting's "When we Dance" in front of 12000 people at his 'Symphonicity' concert at the Sandalford Winery on Saturday the 22nd January 2011. Leanne was partnered by the lovely Stephane Hamel who has been touring with the show as a sound technician and tango dancer. Hopefully, this will stimulate some extra interest in tango for our local community and others the world over as Sting continues his tour.

Australia Day

Australia Day is celebrated on the 26th of January - which is also a Wednesday this year. We have been asked by the Managers of the Hall and in the interests of public safety and security, to not run our practica on that evening, due to the large crowds that will gather on the banks of the Swan River to catch a glimpse of the Skyworks. So there will be no TangoSpace practica on Wednesday the 26th. However, we will be back on deck the following Wednesday the 2nd of February.

Wonderful Start to 2011

Thank you to everyone who came to our Milonga on Saturday night. It was fantastic to kick off the year with you all on such a hot and steamy evening at TangoSpace. Thanks to everyone who helped us pack up. We appreciate your assistance more than we can say. We are now looking forward to the second Saturday in February. See you there.
